Located in Paris’s 10th arrondissement, in the heart of the Village Saint-Martin and just a stone’s throw from Gare de l’Est, Les Rupins is THE Parisian bistro to discover and rediscover!

Guests can take a seat at a large table, at the bar, or in the dining room to enjoy traditional, homemade, seasonal French cuisine. With its friendly atmosphere, warm decor blending wood, stone, and soft lighting, and the seamless interplay between the kitchen and the dining room, Les Rupins is the go-to spot for a lively, authentic Parisian dining experience.

The Origins of Les Rupins: A Neighborhood Bistro That’s Become a Must-Visit Spot

Founded in 2015, Les Rupins began with the takeover of a small Parisian café, the Harmonie Café, in the charming Village Saint-Martin. Stéphane, the founder, explains:

"I fell in love with this location at first sight: the Haussmann-style building, the lively neighborhood… everything fit perfectly with the restaurant’s spirit.
After years of working my way up in the restaurant industry, from server to manager, opening Les Rupins was a natural next step."

For Jeanne, who became director in 2018, the project took on a new form with the opening of the Grand Salon in 2020, the Petit Salon in 2022, and the unification of the spaces in 2023. These redesigned spaces offer a unique vision, blending a love of Paris, an eye for detail, and a passion for quality products.

Traditional, authentic Parisian cuisine

Les Rupins offers traditional French cuisine with a creative twist, inspired by the Normandy region and influenced by Paris—a city shaped by cuisines from around the world.

Each dish is designed to offer an authentic culinary experience:

  • Homemade foie gras, Argentine rump steak, lemon cream, and café gourmand have become the restaurant’s signature dishes
  • Recipes inspired by personal experiences and moments shared with the team and customers

"We want to offer a warm, inviting dining experience where every guest feels special and right at home."

Everything is made in-house, from the selection of ingredients to the presentation of the dishes, with a special focus on value for money and customer satisfaction.

A strategic location and a vibrant neighborhood

Located in Paris’s 10th arrondissement, the restaurant is nestled in an eclectic neighborhood setting, brimming with shops, markets, theaters, and a diverse mix of people: workers, tourists, and locals.

"This neighborhood lives and breathes Paris. It has been revitalized over the decades and offers the perfect setting for a restaurant that wants to be at the heart of Parisian life."

Les Rupins is easily accessible via the Canal Saint-Martin, Gare de l’Est, or the major shopping streets, and fits right in with Paris’s dynamic and trendy vibe.

A close-knit team and strong values

Humility, passion, generosity, perseverance, and kindness guide every member of the team.

"Every meal is like a play: we want our guests to leave with a memorable experience, a delicious meal, and a smile," explains Stéphane.
